That's hardly news.

OK, I don't know if you read all the link, here is more...

The researchers cited numerous factors contributing to California's temperature trends, including urbanization, population, Pacific Ocean conditions and elevation. They found a strong correlation between air temperatures and Pacific coastal sea surface temperatures. The Pacific temperatures warmed 0.09 degrees Celsius (0.16 degrees Fahrenheit) per decade during the study, about half the amount the state warmed overall during that time.

Now if my my supposition is correct, and the principle factor in rising sea levels is the thermal expansion coefficient of water, rather then the paltry melting of ice caps in Antarctica and Greenland, that calculated 200ft of sea level rise that Snowshoe talked about is just a minor puddle of extra water by comparison.

Not to alarm anyone or anything, but Noah's Ark would be hard put to find a decent anchorage under 50 fathoms. It's just calculations at the moment though.
