IBasis Gets SEC Formal Order Of Investigation On Options
DOW JONES NEWSWIRES
March 30, 2007 6:21 p.m.

IBasis Inc. (IBAS) said Friday it has received a formal order of investigation of its stock-option practices from the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Burlington, Mass., telecommunications company disclosed the formal order in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

IBasis first received an informal order of investigation from the SEC in October. The company delayed filing its annual report last week and disclosed that it expected to record an additional $10 million to $20 million in extra compensation expense due to options errors.
