Now if my my supposition is correct, and the principle factor in rising sea levels is the thermal expansion coefficient of water, rather then the paltry melting of ice caps in Antarctica and Greenland, that calculated 200ft of sea level rise that Snowshoe talked about is just a minor puddle of extra water by comparison.

Since the IPCC report is talking about 23 inches in the next century, and observed rise is about 1 foot per century, I have no clue what you are talking about. The current global warming models talk about thermal expansion in inches, not feet. And if the ice caps thicken, which according to the current models they will, then that is an offset to sea level rise.
