Because of all the joy in the pet food industry, and the fact that they can't seem to stop finding new things that are contaminated, I got out my copy of "Lets cook for our dog". It is a first edition so it was printed 14 years ago, but there is garlic in the recipes...... My vet started by saying no raisins, then no onions and now it is no grapes, no leeks and no garlic. I had one dog who almost died from dry dog food preservatives, and now i am afraid of canned dog food, so i guess the dog will just have to live on bones and what ever i cook for me to eat. Maybe she will eat some of the squirrels and rabbits that are all around.
