Roche Buys Biotech Firm THP Associated Press April 2, 2007 10:03 p.m. BASEL, Switzerland -- Swiss drug company Roche Holding AG said Monday it bought privately owned biotech company Therapeutic Human Polyclonals Inc. for $56.5 million. Mountain View, Calif.-based THP specializes in the development of therapeutic antibodies, Roche said in a statement. Roche shares rose 0.19% to close at 215.40 Swiss francs ($177.29) in Zurich.
