Let me tell you what I own in the copper field and why.

ML.TO -- solid management that has executed their development plans under budget and almost on time in spite of difficulties caused by others. Situated in Nevada with many years of reserves. Moly production begins and major increase in Cu in about a year. Close to a 7-bagger for me but I can see another double from here.

CS.TO -- have taken over a past-producing Cu/Ag/Zn/Pb/Au mine & mill in Zacatecas, Mexico and have brought them into production by applying modern techniques and technology. Production is ramping up quickly and there is lots of exploration upside.

CUU.TO -- owns 93.6% of Schaft Creek, a huge Cu/Mo/Au/Ag/Re deposit in NW BC. Teck has backin rights but they have to pay Copper a lot of money for them and CUU will still have 25%, making a takeover likely.

DNT.TO -- I own this primarily for their 100% ownership of Caniarico, a large property with multiple Cu/Au/Ag deposits in Peru which they are developing into a mine. Could be a takeover candidate, though they seem determined to do it on their own, at least so far.

IVN.TO -- has many properties around the world, but the main one is Oyu Tolgoi, the largest Cu deposit ever found. The troubles with the Mongolian government are getting straightened out, it seems, as the stock is flirting with the ATH. My shares are put away for the long haul.

POM.TO/PUM -- owns Northmet, a large Cu/Ni/Co/PGM/Au deposit and mill in Minnesota that will be coming into production next year.

SWC.TO -- owns a large Cu/Au property in the Yukon with multiple deposits and huge exploration upside that is coming into production within a month.

UNO.V -- drill play whose main property, located in New Brunswick, is Chester, which includes the Feeder (Cu/Ga/Co/Bi), East (Cu/Pb/Zn), & Central (Cu/Pb/Zn) deposits.

AZC.TO -- main property is Rosemont, with multiple Cu/Au/Mo deposits in Arizona. Aiming to start production in 2010.

But as always, do your own DD. GLTY.
