Too funny. I don't believe you actually have any personal knowledge about the US -- and you shouldn't believe what you see in the movies.
The US doesn't have any "have not" men except for men with dementia, bad drug habits, or chronic diseases, the aged and the infirm.
There are, unfortunately, "have not" women who have too many kids without being married, and not enough education to ever get ahead, and again, the aged and infirm.
They're not out there fomenting revolution.
Admittedly, we do have people who have less money than they'd like, but this tends to be the result of not finishing school, not staying married, having children without being married, drug use, and other bad choices. There is plenty of pie to go around, you just have to work for it. |
