Sorry about your friend. I just read your post tonight........yesterday was my birthday ( I am getting sick of turning 29 ). I survived two primary breast cancers without having any mastectomies from early 90's. Both were stage one. My mom and sis both died of the disease. My sister had Inflammatory breast cancer and was stage 4 upon diagnosis. I also work in med research so i know a bit about the illness and treatment............worked on Herceptin during the early development stage.etc etc etc.........it goes on and on and on as I've worked in the industry for lots of years. What are the two different treatments that the different Dr's are recommending? I have no problem discussing this on the thread but PM is OK too. Men and women both need to learn more about the disease as everyone has women in their lives and all should know more about this illness. I don't mind a public discussion at all. It will probably bother others more than it will bother me!!! Information is power! I have done many walks for all kinds of cancers. One year I did two 60 milers ! I met a survivor who was 84 and she had done the walk also..........she was from Burbank and had never used an outdoor toilet before!! She was a kick and tons of fun!
