Nobody has even floated that as an issue in the US. If it becomes one, a recycling program would solve much of the non-problem.

Which, for the most part, use fluorescent lights. You know, the tubes. Which contain mercury. It is needed to form the plasma which energizes the phosphors.

You need to be better educated on the subject. You have rather obvious holes in your knowledge.
