Again, don't quite know why you are asking me, but I presume their approach (as stated by some democrats on the various talk shows) to to let quiet diplomacy do what it can do first. Don't make public waves (which can only inflame the issue), don't rattle the sabre..

From the headlines of the past two days it seems some progress is being made through these channels...but we can't tell for certain because it is so quiet (by design).
