Whenever the stock runs up and Wave's in need of funds, we sometimes assume there's some kind of price manipulation occurring, that reaches a climax at the dilution point.

I think it is worth considering that the cause and effect may be exactly opposite. Wave times its financing to occur when the stock is on a roll.

I don't know which view represents the truth. But the assumption that price manipulation is occurring just because the stock rises ahead of a financing is challengeable.

Having said that, I think we're heading towards one again, regardless of the cause of the price rise.
