<I am married to a gal who is of essentially the same race as a Maori, a Malay>
Looks like an attempt to gain immigration status to New Zealand based on family ties.
Does your wife eat enemy slaves? Do you [in cultural solidarity]? That's Maori cultural norm [though they have given it away these days - as far as I know, but what goes down in a hangi is out of sight].
It amuses me how people treat their cultural antecedents as something sacred. They [the cultural norms of the past] were tools for the time. Of course they pick and choose the cultural attributes to show off now, conveniently ignoring the less savoury aspects such as the thumbscrew the head-shrinking, the rack and the dinner menu.
That great racist TJ, likes to assert cultural norms from several centuries ago as though they have passed in untrammelled glory to the present. If they have, plenty of the cultural norms I witnessed in Beijing were worthy of being kept in the deepest, darkest, past.
I hasten to add that I'm not racist. I firmly believe Maoris and even Cherokees should be treated as human. Malays too [though I believe many are Islamic Jihad variety, so I'd make an exception for them]. Some of my best friends are Maoris. They are even mixed into my sacred family DNA. One young woman is the sole female to female descendant of my grandson's great, great, great, grandmother [being my great grandmother] - one of several. Even though our sacred DNA has been polluted, I still think those bearing the sacred DNA, even if only in part, are doing a great job.
It's even a bit like being a cuckoo - using other race's DNA to carry my sacred genome [in whole or part].
A key to DNA propagation is far and wide spreading, to ensure that a disaster in any particular place doesn't end the sacred line. Also, hiding it amongst DNA from other races is a good move too. In protecting their own DNA, they'll move heaven and Earth to protect mine.
But I do think I should be paid a royalty for carting around the DNA of others, or at least a dowry or something.
It's a real mess these days. As my now deceased uncle Jim used to say, life is full of the age-old problem of who's up who and who hasn't paid.

PS: Please don't ask me to identify which bits and bytes of my sacred genome are sacred and which are cuckoo-style parasites. I need better genetic identification to be precise. The gene chip arrays from Affymetrix will be a help [one of these days]. It's quite a mess down there in my DNA engine room and quite a bit of sorting out will be needed.
Given the cash flow from governments these days, and special racial privilege, it pays to have a bit of everything so one can get any job, collect any subsidy, avoid any imposts, enjoy free travel and accommodation, charge various fees and generally swank around like a king, whichever brand of racial coolness is in vogue in any particular situation.
Being of excellent gender is also a good in. It would be good to have a melanin on-off gene too as melanin is a highly rated aspect of privilege in the USA. Getting jobs in the USA is a doddle with the right melanin level and gender. While driving, one could be low melanin to avoid being stopped for DWB offences [Driving While Black]. Then turn on the melanin for the job interview. Turn it off again for something else. On for the beach. Off on a cold day [to avoid heat loss]. On for compensation claims for slave ancestors [to be paid by Chinese immigrants ... what a laugh]. |
