re Hitachi....Jorge Campello presented in the first session in the morning. The topic was Storage Device Encryption. The pannelists included Michael Willett (Seagate though he represented TCG for this session) Dave Anderson (Seagate) Jorge Campello (Hitachi) Ron LaPedis (Sandisk) and Lynn Saxton (Los Alamos National Laboratory).

I asked Mr. Campello when Hitachi would be bringing an FDE hard drive to the market...."2nd quarter" Without even asking him...he said that they were working with Wave and Secude software companies....FWIW
