I'll try....I don't think Nokia made the payment to avoid an injunction; I think it paid in an effort to reduce damages. That teaches me that the Finns are not discounting the threat of treble damages and its possible impact on the company. To put a legal tag to the situation, Nokia is attempting to mitigate its damages. That's why I wrote earlier that Nokia has blinked, albeit a mini blink. On balance I think this is a positive development but we have a long way to go. HF
