ohoh - but NOK isn't saying that exactly. It is saying that Q's patents are "paid up" by which I figure they mean that there isn't any relvant patent with an unexpired life. They are all now public domain.

It may be nonsense from ourpoint of view but the are saying it and filing suit for it so either a court chucks it out as totally ineffective or they say it has o be contested.

Seems very simple to me. IE NOK has an argument and Q can't get a court to just chuck it out.
