It was under Jordanian rule from 1948 until 1967. They were also termed an "Occupying Power" just like Israel is today. What's your point?? Because Israel took it from an occupying power means that they have legitimate rights to it and can't be bound by the GC??

Back to MY point....whether it was Jordanians, Martians or Moonbats that occupied it prior to 1967, Israel is today termed the "Occupying Power" by virtue of seizing it through war and is bound by the GC just like Jordan was from '48 to '67.
