Tool Order: Asyst’s wafer sorter selected for Inotera’s Fab 2 Tuesday, 03 April 2007 Inotera Memories has selected Asyst's ‘Spartan' wafer sorter for its new 300mm facility, Fab 2 in Taoyuan, Taiwan. According to Inotera, the Spartan sorter platform was initially selected in Phase 1 ramp and demonstrated high throughput, cleanliness and high reliability levels that made it first choice for selection in the current Phase 2 ramp. The multi-million-dollar order adds to the 200 plus Spartan sorters so far shipped to 300mm fabs around the world.
