Blast from the past I stumbled upon my old list of PC sellers dating back to 1993 when I was contemplating purchasing my first computer. A fairly humorous if not depressing situation. About 2/3's of the companies are no longer in business. My decision back then ended up between Dell and Gateway 2000. Since Gateway was located in Iowa (where I live) at the time and not being a computer expert, I bought a Gateway 486-DX2. Not really a relevant post but while reading all the Dell woe posts I decided to enter Professor Peabody's way back machine just for S&G's. I don't have much confidence that Dell will ever return to its former stellar position in the marketplace. Jak
