That is my point - we tend to project out of our experience, which, in the case of gravity, is fairly limited. If we had the equivalent of supercooled electromagnets which generated a gravity field, who is to say that cold fusion would not work under those circumstances and that environment...

Gravity, which is a major force in our lives and is, perhaps, what holds the entire assemblage of universes together - we know absolutely nothing about except for falling apples and so forth. We are not even in the infancy of really understanding gravity.
