I saw that article.

Actually I have been posting about global warming and various
articles on it for a year or more but got tired battling the disbelievers most of whom were right wingers... Some were very convincing in their arguments as to why what I posted was incorrect.

Then I retreated as I figured that one can only contribute to alerting.. The future belongs to the younger ones here on S.I. and their children and grandchildren... I won't see any of it. However I will do everything I can to prevent it's killing my Penguins and Polar Bears. Every time I see the documentaries on their being stranded on pieces of glacier or falling down crevices so they cannot get out I become crestfallen.

Most of us here are believers so it's not an effort to
alert one another . Too bad we don't have more influence on others' minds.. Today's NYT headlines it's publication with global warming and it's impact. I have not read it yet but saw the headlines.
