She can't declare herself as big as the president, ultra vires, casus belli. She has constitutional powers and that's it. Which are actually greater than the president's if congress agrees with her [or she agrees with them]

She has constitutional powers as an elected representative and member of Congress, plus any that she has the arrogance to grab unconstitutionally. If she isn't put in her place, there's no preventing unconstitutional violations of separation of powers, is there? That's the rub.

The constitutional powers of the Speaker are nil. "Speaker of the House" is not a constitutional office.
