Thanks, just to clarify - there is no doubt that MMs and large hedge funds do manipulate the smaller issues. There is a huge amount of evidence to support this. Cramer has discussed this on his show and it has been written about by many. In fact, Cramer has stated that he believes that approx. 100 of the largest hedge funds really drive the entire market. Up/down volume ratios can tell a lot about what is happening, often before large price movements.
