I think a loss of confidence in Political leadership could be said to be true in Canada and Britain as well. Politicians are too well paid, too self serving and too much in the pockets of their friends. And both sides of the debate, behave like 2nd grade bullies in their dealings with the "lesser beings" who elect them.
