Thomas Sowell’s right-wing columns prove him a house servant, his papers on Friedrich Hayak notwithstanding.

He is one of the preeminent thinkers of the 20th Century in the same sense that Ronald Reagan was our greatest president. Shallow persuasion indeed.

The United States is facing its worst crisis, at least in my lifetime, and it has nothing to do with obscure right-wing philosophers and my lack of familiarity with them. A certified incompetent has made himself a throne in our capitol, and our most important task ahead is getting rid of him, not winning cheap arguments on the internet.
