Currencies didn't see a follow through; The GBP volatile as usual couldn't keep up with the 1.98 level, it lost heavily against EUR and the USD.
Meanwhile, on friday, US numbers told a different story. It seems the market was a little bit too short the USD so the covering moved it a lot with markets very thin.
I guess the fed is busy rewriting their notes, they are due this week, wednesday.

Some say they just delay the inevitable, and expect some volatility at still healthy levels.
