I disagree. I think none of the top THREE Dem candidates should ever be elected.

But, I don't want to fall into the same trap we've been in before, namely voting AGAINST Hillary, Obama, or Edwards. For a change, I want to vote FOR someone. So far, the only such candidate I see is F Thompson. All the others are political monsters, IMO.

In my opinion, Thompson is the only one of ANY of the candidates (from either party) who seems to speak from personal conviction, not "conviction as modified by polling data and packaged by professionals." This may change as time goes on, I don't know. From what I've seen of him, mostly as a Senator, he's a rational and common sense thinker who says what he thinks, not necessarily what people want to hear. But, we'll see as the campaigns progress.
