It will make no difference, imo, if Israel verbally bares it's teeth to the mullahs. They look at the Olmert gov't on the verge of collapse and will just smile as the clock ticks..
I am not up to date--- the last I gleaned from the Jer. Post, et.al has been a few weeks and I have no clue if it's Likud or the left left who has the mandate when Olmet departs the scene. I hope/trust it's the former.
In any case, I'm hoping for Osiris redeux. When Iran retaliates and it will be on Tel Aviv, Haifa, etc. the US will step into the breach and in concert with Israel do as you said.
