Mike, I just bought my first third of CPQ today. Actually got a decent price execution from my discount broker, another first. My puts are for Jan. Here's how I see CPQ going. After vacations are over, the normal bull tendencies exert themselves and CPQ goes up in Sept. (Time to buy more puts). Then with reporting season drawing near + the elections including a possible Dumbocrat takeover of Congress it is all out panic time in Oct. and Nov. At this time I probably hope to exit from my puts. The negatives I see are that the box makers have alot of momentum right now and are on a roll. Also, isn't it true that the 3rd and 4th quarters are traditionally good times for hi-tech?
What price do you see as a good one for CPQ falling to? I'm looking for it to hit 50 and possibly go under to even 45.
Incidentally, I missed out on adding another third to my MU position when it was at 25. Do you think I'll get another chance?
