Global Platinum + Gold, Inc. Announces Gold Production Start-Up

The following is being issued by Global Platinum + Gold, Inc. (Pink Sheets:GPGI):
Global is pleased to report that it will commence the commercial production of gold from its new plant facilities located south of Coolidge, AZ, effective the week of April 9th, 2007. This initial production may be characterized as the “start-up” phase that will utilize only a portion of the plant's capacity to begin with and expand thereafter as procedures and methods are tested and proven on a commercial scale. It is contemplated that 5 to 25 forty-gallon tanks will be processed repeatedly during this initial start-up phase. We anticipate revenues from this initial production to more than offset current costs of operation. The recovery of gold from each production run should approximate the gold recovery previously reported.
Management believes that it is important for shareholders to know that now we are ready to commence the production phase, we do so with no material debt. The audited financial statements of Global for the past two fiscal years should be published on or before the end of April and will be posted not only on the Company’s website, but also on the “Pink Sheets” Quotation Bureau site under the symbol “GPGI”.
