An Emirati told me this joke a few years ago.

An Frenchman, a Japanese and an Emirati were on their cargoship heading out to sea. A few hours into the trip, the boat hit something and was beginning to capsize. The captain of the boat sounded the alarm and told everybody that they need to throw overboard all non-essential items in order to reduce weight and try to keep the ship afloat.

The Frenchman began tossing cartons of cheese and boxes of wine overboard. "Scare bleu, this is a wonderful vintage, but we have lots of this stuff back home. Au revoir wine and cheese!" and overboard went his stuff.

The Japanese began tossing his boxes of Sony Walkmans and Casio digital cameras overboard. "It's tragic to lose all this to the seas, but we've got lots more electronics back home".

The Emirati began tossing Indians overboard.......
