China's January-March copper imports up 58% on year

China's imports of copper and semi-finished products totaled 307,740 metric tons in March, according to preliminary data provided by the General Administration of Customs Tuesday.

Imports in March were higher than February imports of 239,772 tons.

The customs department didn't provide on-year change for March alone, but imports in January-March totaled 776,576 tons, up 58% on year.
