I hope this incident makes folks like Sharpton take a good hard look at the black community,

I saw a few moments of Imus on Sharpton yesterday. Much as I dislike Imus, I disliked Sharpton much more. He was attempting to have this enormous gravitas as he confronted Imus. It was very pompous and funny. Imus apologised, but Sharpton just couldn't broaden the discussion from "You ought to be fired, you racist creep" to anything that might actually mean something. (such as the points in your post)

Interestingly, he seemed more offended by the use of the word "nappy" than "ho". I even went and looked it up, thinking maybe I had the meaning wrong, but, when referencing hair, it means "kinky".
Frankly, I think HO is a bit more insulting.
