They sure were. The question is: do they have more folks in
the Caribbean to buy the dollar, or did they just run out?
Will the Chinese and the Japanese still be willing to buy
Fannie and Freddie debt only not to get their money back?
It all ends like the John Law story ended, and the end
surely looks near with the dollar breaking 83. It is NOT easy
to manipulate the dollar, even though they are trying -
borrowing Yen to buy it. It is not like stocks which they
do manipulate. The problem is, when they start the press,
the dollar usually REALLY sinks. Once the dollar falls below
80, it will be way too late to stop it from falling all the
way to 0, and it will, the way things are going now. We'll
have to see how long it takes for the dollar to sink after
these two coupon passes.

And, Europe and Japan are raising. More pressure on those
who sold Euro and Yen short to buy Fannie and Freddy funny
stinking debt.
