In the documentary made in Britain they showed conclusively to me that sun spot activity charted is identical to temperature chart. A chart of CO2 content trails the temperature chart by some years. In other words CO2 is a following indicator, not a leading indicator. Reason for that is it takes some years of higher temperature to warm the oceans, the largest source of CO2 in our atmosphere. Warmer oceans increases their release of CO2. Cooling periods due to lack of sun spot activity followed by cooling oceans which then absorb more CO2.

Do keep in mind these same fools were screaming about the impending ice age back in the 70's.
