Google or Wikipedia or Britannica might satisfy you better, Shorty, but 'winner take all' (which, as I mentioned, I believe around 1/2 of the US States use) is an election system where ALL of a State's Presidential Elector votes are assigned to just ONE CANDIDATE (despite the fact that other candidates might have polled various lesser percentages of the vote)....

If memory serves, most of the South is or was 'winner-take-all', while many other States still use proportional apportionment systems.
