Bush and White House lie about Pelosi's Syria visit.
They neglected to tell Americans that GOP congressmen and senators have visited Syria numerous times. That Pelosi asked the White House's permission first and they had no objections. And that Reagan sent emmisaries to Syria 23 times before he made a peace deal.

clearly, the Bush-Cheney "strategy" of never talking to countries we don't like is totally counter-productive and costs us dearly. After five years of claiming they would never talk to North Korea, they finally did and got a deal. NJow Bush-Cheney should start talking directly to Iran. The longer they avoid diplmacy the worse it gets for us, and the less respected we are around the world.
