trust.. to have the money men debate is not trust. we are not electing them for office. the candidates explain their positions and defend them in the debates or interviews.
they lack trust , because they flip flop depending on money, pressure from organizations with an agenda that can hurt/help them, or polls where the candidates turn on dime from an issue to get more votes.
One i remember is ethanol support from government. East coast candidates like kerry, bradley when running for senator were strongly against ethanol support, however, have them run for national office and flip, they are strongly behind ethanol support, i expect they were against farm subsidiaries and flip think helping the farmer at all costs is a great idea.
you will have difficulty finding a candidate you can trust completely, only one that you may think you can trust more so than the others.
Romney comes to mind right now , his trust ,, is at all time low ,, says he was a hunter , now we find out otherwise. it brings to question how many more statements are in his presentations just to get votes but without any substance. |
