taking straight niacin 500mg tabs. two each at breakfast and dinner when numbers run up i got to lunch per dr. a bottle of about 1000 tabs is around $15. or so at sams club. about six months supply. i do not get a flush been taking this stuff for 15 years. at one time doctor recommended i get the non flush but it had no impact on my numbers so we went back to straight niacin. oh, i have a piece of bacon or butter on toast with a niacin pill i get a flush. ha i have been running around 200 for the last two years.
