Don't believe Bushies on Iran. They are only telling one side of the story and are not admitting they themselves caused Iran to become hostile toward us. In March 2001 Iran elected pro-western leaders. That is a fact and was a very hopeful sign. That plus diplomacy and carrots could have made Iran much less unfriendly troward us. But Bushies didn't want to be friends. I'm sure theyir plan was to quickly subdue Iraq then conquer Iran as well. But it all backfired.

BTW: outing Valerie Plame, a top CIA agent on iranian WMD intel was a very costly crime.
