I think Title IX is and has been very important to women because it has given MANY women access to a college education they would not have had before.. I think women scholar-athletes enter school MORE SO for the education than the men do and therefore title IX has opened a lot of college doors to them.

Imo, men athletes are in school more so for the sport. I don't know, but I bet women scholar-athletes have a higher graduation rate..

So that's why I think Title IX is important.
