Of course no pundits will resign. Interestingly enough Don Imus created his own problem here. He long ago split his routine and watered down his comedy. He strained to be recognized as a media man in the know. He wanted to be taken seriously and dug his own grave. The problem with so many of the celebrities is once they have made it, the show becomes all about THEM. Now he can take his personal life and live it and people won't have to hear his boring nonsense. He was incredibly funny at one time. As a side note, he should have seen it coming after he insulted the Clinton's at a dinner a few years back. His liberal armor failed him.
