Saddam's dictatorial rule placed a lid to the civil war amongst the sectarian Islamic groups in that country. A minority Sunni controlled the entire country with iron hand. Bush removed that lid. It is a conjecture whether post Saddam rule - given he were to rule until his natural death - would open the lid and turn the country into civil war. Is it a matter of time that Iraqi's chaos is inevitable and Bush just makes it sooner?
