My soft boiled egg goes in the water and I start the 3 minute timer when the water starts to boil. Perfect egg, every time. My mom used the Brown & Brummel spread but I like the flavor of Smart Balance better. Lots of spread, egg on top of that and go to work. Sounds good enough for tomorrow's breakfast to me.
