The Canadian dollar is rallying. Although, the daily chart is approaching overbought, the weekly is in bull mode. The monthly is just starting to turn the corner. Nothing is sure, but it looks like you will be getting more USD for your CAD in September than now. So it seems a good bet to hang in there with the CAD for now. OTOH if commodities collapse between now and year end, the trend could reverse.
