Ho’s, Hypocrites & Politically Correct Pimps…

A couple of weeks ago I went to watch the son of a friend of mine play in an elementary school basketball game. Now it’s been perhaps 8 to 10 years since I’ve been to an elementary school, or around a large group of kids of that age group, as my own children are now considerably older.

The basketball game was nothing special… scores of double dribbles, dropped passes and air-balls. Didn’t see any future Larry Birds, or Magic Johnsons. But it wasn’t what I “saw” that left a lasting impression on me… it was what I – “heard.”

What I heard was a group of 10 to 12 year olds in the stands using language that would curl the hair of veteran sailors. What was most disturbing was the sexual verbiage. And it came from both boys and girls. And for what it’s worth – all of it came from black kids.

One only has to read the public statistics that are broken down by race on the failure rates of basic literacy & competency tests in the public schools, the out-of-wedlock birth rates, and the homiecide rate among young blacks (95% of young blacks are killed by young blacks - not 57 year old white talk show/radio hosts) to see that black society has a problem.

Bill Cosby spoke the truth and was crucified by the black community for speaking the truth. And now today we got another dose of white-guilt and hypocrisy shoved down our throats.

To see hypocrites like Robert Johnson come on MSNBC and blame Don Imus for the self-destructive behavior, poor self-image and cultural meltdown within the black community… after becoming a billionaire and profiteering for decades by pimping vulgar, demeaning and sexist music video’s on BET… is simply unbelievable.

And how about Mr. “Hymie-town” himself – Jesse Jackson? What a joke… This guy is the ultimate poster child for hypocrisy.

Then there’s Barak Obama…talking about protecting the sanctitude of his young black daughters self-image that he (quote/unquote) works so hard to reinforce and protect each and every single day.

Give me a freekin break!

Has Mr. Obama never listened to 50 Cent? Does he not know what the letters for the hip-hop group “NWA” stand for? Has he not tuned in to a contemporary black music radio station and heard the word “ho” - “bitch” and worse…. 1,374 times a day? Can he not hear the vulgar lyrics thumpa-thumping out of the bass-boom-boxes of the scores of hoopties driving by each day?

Why hasn’t Mr. Obama gone directly to the real root of the threat of his daughters self-image and sanctitude?

Puh-F’n-leeze.

Forget the threat of bird-flu… the plague of white-guilt is in full pandemic mode tonight.

And while we're at it – let’s burn the constitution and forget free speech too…

I can not believe the parade of spotlight-seeking pimps, media-ho’s and hypocrites leaping over one another to get to the head of the pile on Don Imus line tonight.

To listen to them – you’d think that those 11 year kids calling each other bitches, ho’s, skanks and worse….spent their day watching sexually explicit and demeaning hip-hop video’s on BET staring Rush Limbaugh – not Ludicrous.. Or, that those mp3’s they’re listening to on their ipods that feature vulgar, profane and sexually demeaning lyrics…were sung by Sean Hannity – not Snoop Dog. And we all know that the root of “homiecide” comes from watching Don Imus shooting cops on their video games.

Don Imus is no saint. Hell, I don’t even like the guy personally, or professionally. His reputation is that he’s an asshole both on and off air. I certainly don’t endorse what he said. And I won’t be shedding any tears for Don Imus.

But, this really isn’t about Don Imus. It’s about denial. Black denial about the truth’s that Bill Cosby and others in the black community have dared speak aloud.

Today hypocrites (both black and white alike) seized yet another opportunity and yet another scapegoat to further that denial.

Someone needs to stand up and say – enough is enough.

The problem with the behavior of young black men toward young black women does not lie at the microphone of Don Imus. Rush Limbaugh is not to blame for the black on black homicide rate and Sean Hannity is not to blame for the explosion in illiteracy, drop out and out-of-wedlock birth rates.

Black America will gain nothing by the firing of Don Imus. Nor will the self-esteem, or sanctity of young black women like Barak Obama’s daughters be furthered by the self-serving hypocrisy of Robert Johnson, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

Black America doesn’t need these hypocrites.

They need 2 things.

To listen to the truth spoken by Bill Cosby…and a long hard look in the mirror...

Not the firing of Don Imus.
