If you're saying Imus' speech is entitled to be viewed in the same way as rap music, I'd tend to agree with you.

If you're saying the market should decide whether rappers or Imus make money on their speech, I'd also agree with you.

I'm unaware of "people on the right" who are "asking for a Constitutional Amendment to ban hate speech."

If you have a problem with the P.C. police, I suspect you'll find most of them in your own ranks. Ann Coulter opens her mouth about a Democrat public figure and the entire left has the group vapors.

The ironic thing is that a lefty like Rosie O'Donnell, for example, who espouses 9/11 conspiracy theories and who wants us to *understand* terrorists because they're just moms and dads, fell all over herself defending Imus.
