I see your point and pretty much agree with it. It still bothers me that no one was fired for the lapses that allowed 9/11 to happen. However, past a certain point things get fuzzy.

An estimated 10 million natives lived in the Americas at the time Columbus sailed in. Eventually most were exterminated by war and the white man's diseases, their lands confiscated and their cultures erradicated. Do we blame Columbus? Yes, but...

NOBODY IS ULTIMATELY ENTIRELY THE BLAME FOR ANYTHING, BECAUSE PRIOR EVENTS TRIGGER VARIOUS RESPONSES, AND THE WEASELS AMONGST US DENY THEIR OWN RESPONSIBILITY BY THE PROCESS OF SO-CALLED "justification". NONETHELESS, BUSHCO HAVE BY THEIR ACTIONS DIRECTLY MURDERED THOUSANDS AND HAVE UNCORKED THE FOLLOWING SCENE. ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE? NO, NO, NO, NO NO! IT'S JUST THE SAVAGE IRAQUIS WHO MURDER ANYBODY INDISCRIMATELY (anyway, that's the BUSHCO, spin we are supposed to swallow)
