"...call for a non-activist moderator who relied on the experience and self desicipline of the participants."

In my humble understanding, the banned people are exactly those who have no self discipline but lots of "experience" in bashing the stock and mocking investors, in obvious (and foolish) attempt to help their personal trading strategies and/or sadistic self satisfaction. A good moderator has to identify those persons, and ban them for life. So far the ban list has all right people except mas_ and pirasa2 (I can't identify why pirasa2 was banned). I think that dougSF30 and Sarmad are two other good candidates for the list, and the AMD thread should be fine.

I also think that the speed limit is a good measure, except when a poster does favor to the thread by posting related news and information. I think that all one-liner comments like "LOL!!" and "You think so?" must be punished immediately by temporary revoking posting rights. And I see no problem if the rules get refined over time - this is a normal process for a society.

Cheers,

- Ali
