I believe that every time the media reports the killing of an innocent civilian at the hands of our military, they aren't just putting on a show. They really hope that by reporting it, our society will take extra steps to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future.

Hence the reason why we put such a high standard of behavior on our troops. We expect them to function reasonably and sanely in an insane environment. Of course, the Muslim "freedom fighters" aren't held to any such standard except how many innocent civilians they can kill and how much they can demoralize the free world.

Hence they are not impressed by our guilt and self-doubt. All they see is weakness, because they play by a much different set of rules than we do. And unfortunately, their rules are more "primal" in nature than ours.
