I don't live there. I live here. So I fear the people who most directly have the power to inflict their beliefs on me. It is only logical to fear people who most directly affect one. If it ever seems likely that the Iranians the Saudis or the Syrians and their belief systems should ever be a danger to me, I'll worry about them. But right now, the biggest danger to my liberties and my happy way of life, comes from the religious majority in this country. I prefer my country to be secular, and so I worry about them. In terms of risk assessment, that is only logical.
